Sourcing & Kitchen Standards

Ingredient standard

Human-grade here means we intend to buy meat, organ, and bone to the same supplier standard as food sold for people — not feed-grade by-product meal. It is not a third-party certification, and we have not published supplier audits, organic certificates, or batch lab results. We will name suppliers as those details are finalized.

The planned proteins are chicken, turkey, beef, duck, and lamb. Ask via Contact if you need a specific restriction noted on the waitlist.

Kitchen

Meals will be prepared in a dedicated commercial kitchen once we are operating. We are not claiming a current public kitchen tour, a published license number, or that batches are already leaving a facility. High-pressure processing (HPP) is not part of the planned process for primary proteins; that is a process choice, not a safety guarantee.

Nutritional adequacy

Recipes are formulated toward AAFCO nutrient profiles for their intended species and life stage. AAFCO does not certify, approve, or stamp pet food. An adult-dog nutrient profile does not establish a cat formula or a growth formula. Final nutritional adequacy statements will be published on every label before ordering opens. AAFCO does not certify products, and we have not completed a veterinary-nutritionist review yet.

Cold chain (planned)

The intended path is frozen at the kitchen, loaded into insulated packaging, delivered on a refrigerated route, then into your freezer. If an order arrives damaged or thawed, send a photo to owners@purepawraw.com within 24 hours of delivery and we refund it to the original payment method. Temperature thresholds and claim windows have not been published yet.
